We Are Busy Bodies launches fourth imprint

Having Fun Records is the latest imprint from Toronto’s renowned We Are Busy Bodies, celebrating over 20 years of operation in 2025. While its parent label has built a reputation for a genre-agnostic ethos, Having Fun will focus its releases to rock, pop, and other sub-genres while it continues its commitment to discovering and championing new (and old) interesting music.

The first signing to its new imprint is Sheffield, UK based modernist pop group, Pale Blue Eyes for the North American release of their forthcoming third album, New Place on March 7, 2025.

“Already fans of the band, we were fortunate to see them live in Hamburg at the Reeperbahn Festival this past September and was taken by their live show and drive. Having already accomplished so much in Europe, we look forward to releasing their new album and bringing them to North America,’ states label owner, Eric Warner.

Having Fun Records has several releases planned for 2025, including the first album by Beta Trip, a new project by Steve Lewin. Additional release announcements to follow.
